My fee is a “contingency fee” which means that it is contingent upon me being able to get a financial recovery for you. If I do not get a settlement or verdict for you, you owe me nothing. My motivation for going to law school was my sincere desire to help hurting people. My first job out of law school was representing insurance companies in a large law firm. I became successful at defending large insurance companies against injured people and soon began to hate my job. That was not why I went to law school. So I quit and started representing injured people. Life became much more meaningful. But then I started feeling bad about the excessively high legal fees my law firms charged their clients. I had no control over that. Until I started my own law firm. Now, I have peace, and am happy, charging a lesser contingency fee percentage knowing that doing so helps injured people, which fulfills the purpose of why I went to law school.
